Holy Basil, it's been a while! It seems like no one really noticed so that is a good thing. During this time of transition I have been taking Holy Basil, a sacred plant in Indian folk medicine. It's Sanskrit name, Tulsi, means "The Incomparable One." With its fragrant aroma, its part of a category of herbs that supports good health and normal function of the whole body. It is a antioxidant that supports the body's natural response to oxidative stress and supports normal blood sugar levels. In Ayurveidc tradition, Holy Basil is also used to support normal respiratory function and is considered to be an "elixir of life," promoting good health and longevity.
